Winter Student Program 2020

CALL FOR APPLICANTS: JANUARY 6 - 15, 2020

The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) is inviting applications from undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities in the United States and Canada to apply for the 2020 IIIT Winter Student Program (WSP) in Islamic Studies. WSP is designed for currently enrolled undergraduate students, regardless of their major or program of study. The program provides a 10-day intensive study of major topics in Islamic studies, including: Hadith and Sunnah, Fiqh and Usul ul Fiqh, Quranic Exegesis, and Contemporary Islamic Thought.

Students are expected to cover their transportation costs and provide evidence of health insurance. The program will be held at IIIT offices in Herndon, Virginia. The dates of the 2020 program will be January 6 – January 15, 2020.

3. 250-word personal statement (The student should tell us a bit about her/himself, what she/he would like to accomplish by studying at WSP, and why s/he is applying for WSP.)

Application deadline: Extended to October 21, 2019 

Eligibility: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at a college or university in the US or Canada.
