Aiming for the Wellbeing of Learners in Muslim majority Societies

This wave of mapping the terrain will continue to investigate constructs that are as central to the overall well-being of people in the educational systems in Muslim countries and continue to focus on correlates of the various stages of the human development trajectory. Concepts such as self-regulation and meaning making, for instance, are important in empathy, forgiveness, and moral reasoning and they are as critical for growth and development. Meaning making is instrumental in research on socio- emotional wellbeing (Fossas, 2018). Our main outcome is wellbeing and as such we will continue to construct the empirical research with this desired outcome in mind.
