    Ongoing Preparations for the Upcoming IIIT Conference

    In preparation for the forthcoming IIIT Annual Conference on the Advancing Education in Muslim Societies (AEMS) Research Project – jointly organized with İstanbul Şehir University – Dr Anas al-Shaikh-Ali met with the Turkish team led by Hatice Nuriler, the coordinator of the team, as well as Dr. Harun Şencal, İlknur Bahadır, Suna Sarıhan and Ahmet Arif Günaydın. In addition to assessing the Sunnah symposium that took place in March, the team also discussed the upcoming Summer School, the ongoing weekly student discussion group which includes the Summer School and Winter School alumni, and various projects for 2019.
