    Management and Extra-Curricular Activities in Student Dormitories in Albanian Madrasas

    On September 29-30, 2018, a seminar on “Management and Extra-Curricular Activities in Student Dormitories in Albanian Madrasas” was held in Shkodra, Albania in cooperation with the Albanian Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization. The aim of this seminar was to study the administrative and educational activities conducted in dormitories in Albanian speaking madrasas in order to develop and improve them for students.

    As a follow up to the event, the Center for Advanced Studies hosted a seminar on October 19-21, 2018 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Eleven teachers and educators from Albania and Macedonia participated in this event. As part of the program, the teachers visited two Bosnian madrasas –on in Sarajevo and another in Visoko- and had the opportunity to compare the different management systems used in madrasas and dormitories.
