Polish: Al-Szura: Koraniczna Zasada Konsultacji (Books-in-Brief: Al-Shura: The Qur’anic Principle of Consultation) Muzułmanie w dużej mierze pozostają nieświadomi znaczenia i wartości koranicznej zasady Al-Szura (wzajemnych konsultacji) oraz znaczącej roli, jaką może ona odegrać w rozwoju i reformie społeczeństwa muzułmańskiego. W tej pracy autor podejmuje próbę wprowadzenia i zbadania kluczowych znaczeń i praktyk Al-Szura, prześledzenia jej historycznej ewolucji oraz zbadania sposobów wprowadzenia, zinstytucjonalizowania i zastosowania tej zasady w społeczeństwach muzułmańskich. Nie ma wątpliwości, że Al-Szura została zepchnięta na margines w całym świecie muzułmańskim, a przyczyny tego są złożone zarówno historycznie, jak i politycznie. Zdaniem autora, choć wiele napisano na ten temat, w rzeczywistości jest ona w najlepszym wypadku stosowana nieefektywnie, a w najgorszym bezmyślnie ignorowana. Muslims remain largely unaware of the importance and value of the Qur’anic principle of al-Shura (mutual consultation) and the significant role it can play in the advancement and reform of Muslim society. In this work, the author attempts to introduce and examine key meanings and practices of al-Shura, trace its historical evolution, and explore ways in which the principle can be introduced, institutionalized and applied in Muslim societies. There is no doubt that al-Shura has been sidelined throughout the Muslim world and the reasons for this are both historically and politically complex. In the opinion of the author, although much has been written on the subject, in reality it has been at best ineffectively applied and at worst heedlessly ignored. AHMAD AL-RAYSUNI posiada doktorat z islamistyki na Uniwersytecie Muhammada al-Khamisa w Rabacie w Maroku. Pracował w Ministerstwie Sprawiedliwości, jest redaktorem gazety „al-Tajdid” i członkiem Jamiyat al-Ulama (Stowarzyszenia Uczonych Muzułmańskich) w Maroku. Profesor al-Raysuni jest autorem wielu książek i artykułów na temat al-Maqasid w języku arabskim, a niektóre z nich zostały przetłumaczone na inne języki. Obecnie wykłada Usul al-Fiqh i Maqasid al-Szaria w College of Arts and Humanities na Uniwersytecie Muhammada al-Khamisa w Maroku. AHMAD AL-RAYSUNI holds a doctorate in Islamic Studies from Muhammad al-Khamis University, Rabat, Morocco. He has worked at the Ministry of Justice, is the editor of al-Tajdid newspaper, and a member of Jamiyat al-Ulama (the Association of Muslim Scholars) in Morocco. Professor al-Raysuni has written a number of books and papers on al-Maqasid in Arabic, some of which have been translated into other languages. He currently teaches Usul al-Fiqh and Maqasid al-Shariah at the College of Arts and Humanities, University of Muhammad al-Khamis, Morocco.
