IIIT Al Faruqi Memorial Lecture at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Religion (AAR)
The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) held its annual Al Faruqi Memorial Lecture at the 2022 Annual Meeting of AAR on Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Muhammad Shafiq (Nazareth College) moderated the session where he spoke about the life and legacy of Prof. Al Faruqi and introduced the keynote speaker, Dr. Waleed El-Ansary (Xavier University), who delivered a talk titled, “What is Real Islamic Economics?” The lecture was followed by an interactive Question and Answer session.
