In all, ten prominent scholars share their valuable insights on their respective fields in this book. Ehsan Ahmed was born in Pakistan on 2 Rabi’I 1371 AH/1 December 1951 AC. He Received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Punjab University, Pakistan, 1391 AH/1971 AC. He received an M.A. in Economics from the Government College, Lahore, Pakistan, 1394 AH/1974 A.C. and his second M.A. in Economics, with Honors, from Roosevelt University, Chicago, 1397 AH/1977 AC. He also received his Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University, Lansing, 1402 AH/1982 AC. Dr. Ahmed is currently a Professor of Economics at James Madison University, Virginia, since 1410 AH/1989AC. He is also an author, publisher, and participant in a number of conferences on various aspects of Islamic Economics. (1996).
