Description:	The Association of Muslim Chaplains (AMC), The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) and The Islamic Seminary Foundation (ISF) present “A Summer In-service and Training Institute for Chaplains, Imams and other Professionals” (Muslim and other faith traditions) who serve the Muslim Community. CEUs will be awarded through the Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences at no extra fee. The event, which is endorsed by the Association of Muslim Mental Health, will take place at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), 500 Grove Street Herndon, VA 20170. All one-day workshops are 8:00am until 8:30pm Sat. June 9^th- Prophetic Strategies for Working with Youth - Dr. Kiarash Jahed Sat. June 16^th- Contemporary Readings of the Quran - Prof. Zainab Alwani Sun. June 17^th- Islamic Communities in America - Prof. Sulayman Nyang Sat. June 23^rd- Counseling Muslims: The Basics - Prof. Jimmy Jones Sun. June 24^th- Effective Chaplaincy in Various Settings - Chaplain Mumina Kowalski Fri.-Sun.
